Prayer needs

• Spirit of materialism motivates this global economic center. Pray that God will awaken the city and nation to its need for salvation.

• Pray for the salvation of the imperial family, and that official visits to the Yasokuni Shrine by politicians will be discontinued.

• Pray for unity and mutual understanding between non-charismatic and charismatic Christians. Suspicion has led to lack of cooperation and spiritual pride.

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. Lord, thank you for hearing our prayers and giving us the things we ask of you. I pray for the people of Yokohama, that they would know your Son. I pray that they would all become seekers of you, God. That they would feel you tugging at their spirit and would knock at your door and make their requests known to you. Have mercy on them, O God.
