• Pray that residents of this city of springs may come to know the Source of living water, who brings true righteousness and purity.

• Pray for spiritual revival in this educational and industrial center.

• Tai Shan, one of China's five sacred mountains, rises one hundred kilometers south of the city. Pray that the spiritual power behind this stronghold would be broken.

But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith - Philippians 3:7-9

Lord, we ask for the revelation of Philippians 3 to fall on the city of Jinan. That they would be a people who take an inventory of their life and count it all as loss, because knowing you is everything. Lord, I pray for the church in that city, that they would not count themselves out, they would not count themselves as being too far persecuted. Allow them to realize you are calling them for such a time as this. Allow the revelation of Christ to fill them in a fresh way, and allow a fresh understanding of what we have in you to consume them.
