Tripoli, Libya
Major religions: Islam (96.6%), Christian (2.7%)
% Unreached: 69%
Prayer needs
Pray that evangelism would again be allowed in Libya and that church denominations will be allowed to meet in multiple locations.
Pray that foreign Christians working in Tripoli would have wisdom, boldness, and protection as a witness to Libyans. Many of these workers can share their faith only with people they trust, who will not turn them into the police.
Pray that God would direct the evangelistic plans of the World Islamic Call Society and bring many to himself who would otherwise be missionaries for Islam.
Prayer starter
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”— so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith. - Galatians 3:13-14
Thank you, Jesus, that you hung on a tree for the people of Tripoli, Libya. Thank you that the people of Tripoli are no longer under the curse of the law. Through your death and resurrection, you have promised blessing to the people of Tripoli. God, I pray that faith would rise among them. Stir their faith, increase their faith. I pray that Your Spirit would fall on Tripoli and that revival would spread through the land.
