Prayer needs

• Pray for an increase in the standard of living so parents can support their children. Pray that the children who must work for the rich will not be exploited.

• Pray for a renewed sense of calling in the national church and that evangelism and discipleship would replace compromise and nominal Faith.

• Pray for unity in cooperation among churches and for the growth of evangelical fellowships.

For thus says the Lord: When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will visit you, and I will fulfill to you my promise and bring you back to this place. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. Father, we thank you for the plans that you have for Colombo. I can only imagine the desire that you have for these people and for that nation. I pray that you would begin a work in their hearts that they might know you more, that they would desire to know who you are and what you’ve done for them. I pray that you would soften their hearts so that when they hear the gospel they would recognize it as the thing they were looking for all along!
