Prayer needs

• With unemployment so high, many people are living in poverty. Pray that more jobs will become available.

• Pray that peace and stability between the Somalis and Afars will continue (a civil war between the groups ended in 2001), and that there will be continues openness to a Christian presence.

• Pray for converts to result from ministries involved with education, public health, agriculture, literature, and youth work.

Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. - Hebrews 4:14-16

Jesus we ask that the people of Djibouti would draw near to your throne of grace. We ask that they would understand how you care for them, that you are not a far-off God but that you are closer than their very breath. Help them to come to you with confidence, knowing that you long to help them in their time of need.
