Prayer needs

• Muslim converts are subjected to great persecution and rejection. Pray that Uyghur fellowships would be established for strength and support.

• Pray for spiritual strength, encouragement, and open doors to witness for foreign believers who have made their home in this remote city.

• Pray for the completion and distribution of the New Testament and the distribution of the Jesus film in Uyghur.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. We speak light and life over Urumqi. Thank you, Father, for this city, found in a hotbed of persecution and misunderstanding. Thank you that your Word will keep your church. Thank you that you have never left these people, that you never turn your back on them. Thank you for life and light surrounding your church in this hour. We ask that you would allow your church to shine in these dark days: families being separated from one another, persecution of the church, fear in the streets. Thank you that you are there in the midst of it. Darkness will not overcome!
