Prayer needs

  • Pray that the king would be favorable to Christianity and grant freedom to witness and worship. Pray that tentmakers could work without restrictions.

  • Pray for the protection of Bible translators and that translations into Dzongkha, Kebumtamp, and Sharchagpakha would be completed.

  • Little Christian literature and no radio programming are available in the official Dzongkha language. Pray for the development of these essential tools.

Prayer starter

“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. - John 17:20-23

Thank you for your amazing love, Father. It is almost unbelievable that you love us just as you love Jesus. I pray for your people in the city of Thimpu, in Bhutan, that they may be one. That, though they are small in number, through their unity they may show your glory. Use them to show your love to those around them that do now know you.
