Prayer needs

• Pray for complete restoration and healing of a place that was devastated by the sinful actions of nations that enslaved its people.

• Pray that Benin's government will continue to support religious freedom and that its future leaders will follow Christ.

• God is more powerful than all traditional religions and voodoo practices. Pray that God will reveal his mighty power in Cotonou and break the hold of animism.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” - Romans 1:16-17

Thank you, Lord, for the gospel. Thank you for inviting all of us to let go of our sin and our own attempts at righteousness and trusting in your grace and mercy instead. I pray that you reveal your gospel to the people in Cotonou; for those that do now know you to come to believe and be saved; for those that already believe in you to come to enjoy more and more the rest and love and righteousness that you offer us.
