Prayer needs

  • The church suffered much under communism, with many believers falling away or backsliding. Pray for reconciliation and unity in the body of Christ.

  • Pray that all restrictions against public evangelism, church building, and missionaries will be lifted.

  • Most of the churches trained leaders left in 1975. Pray for national pastors and teachers to be equipped and that training materials would become available.

Prayer starter

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.” - Luke 4:18-19

Lord, I thank you that you have anointed our prayers. I ask that you send workers to proclaim your good news to the people of Vientiane, Laos. In the name of Jesus, I declare liberty to the captives in Vientiane. Open the eyes of the people that they may see who You are—I declare healing in the name of Jesus. Miracles in the name of Jesus. God, pour out your favor on this city and these people. May this city come to know You.
