Prayer needs

• Pray for the Protection of new believers who undergo persecution mainly by relatives.

• Pray that backbiting, politics, and corruption would no longer hinder the churches witness and that harmony, purity, and unity would instead characterize the church. Pray for church leaders to lead the way in this.

• A number of Christian organizations have their headquarters in the city. Pray for wisdom for the leaders in for effectiveness and their ministry.

Father, we ask that your grace and truth would saturate this city right now. Thank you, Jesus, that you came to live among us, and we ask that you would allow your church to do the same. Empower them to love the least of these around them, to share your word and to reveal the fullness of who you are. Lord, let your church in the city not just gather in a building, but empower them to get out to where the people are, to dwell among them just as you did.
