Prayer needs

• Pray for the poor as they struggle to live in a post-communist country, that God would use the economic struggles to bring many to Christ.

• Pray that the influence and plans of Islamic nations to evangelize Albania would be thwarted.

• Pray for unity among the churches. Also pray that the church would find favor with the government.

And Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly, I say to you, only with difficulty will a rich person enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” - Matthew 19:23-26

Thank you, Father, for taking the initiative in saving us. Left to ourselves, we would still refuse you and trust in other things instead. I pray for the people in Tirana, Albania, for those that do not yet believe to know their own spiritual poverty, to see their need for you and to put their hope for salvation in You and Your mercy and sacrifice alone. We ourselves have no power to save anyone, Lord, but nothing is impossible for You!
