Prayer needs

• Pray for peace in the city and safety for the innocent. Pray that terrorist groups will turn from their ways and come to know the Savior.

• Pray for Muslim women as more Islamic laws are placed on them. These laws restrict their freedom and make them second-class citizens. Pray for Christian marriages and godly families to be raised up.

• Pray for the security of Berber and Arab Christians and the underground churches. Some have received death threats, and murders occur regularly in the city.

Thank you, Lord, for giving us leaders to help us grow to be more like you. I pray for the church in Algiers, and especially for their leaders, that you gift them to equip your people to do your work. Use your people to bring the good news to their city, and open the hearts of the people they talk with, that they see their need and turn to you and are saved. I also ask that you protect your church there from wrong and misguided teaching, and keep them in your truth.
