Prayer needs

• Pray that some Qatari believers living abroad will return home and become the core of an indigenous church.

• Pray that the expatriate Christians working in Doha will be fruitful in their friendship evangelism.

• Pray that the materialistic lifestyle produced by the great oil wealth would bring disillusionment and a renewed search for spiritual truth in Jesus.

While walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Immediately they left their nets and followed him. - Matthew 4:18-20

Lord, you are calling the people of Doha to be disciples: people who leave everything behind and follow you. So we ask that you would raise up a generation of responders to that call, a generation of obedient disciples who will leave all things behind and pursue you. Jesus, please continue to draw people to yourself, people who will leave everything behind and pursue the call.
